For more Twitter love – Tweet out a quote and/or catchy phrase made by your guest during the interview and put it in your ongoing rotation.
They’ll most likely retweet because it makes them look good.
(Be sure and link back to your show.) 🙂
I see a lot of podcasters doing this which is awesome! However, get added mileage by creating killer artwork out of the quote and using an automated tool like TweetJukebox or SocialOomph to keep the love flowing.
This might sound aggressive to you, but after chatting it up with Guy Kawasaki, I upped my daily Twitter output to about 80 Tweets a day.
Think that's a lot?
I recently had Tim Fargo on the show, he's the founder and CEO of TweetJukebox, and he raised his personal Twitter game to 200 a day (ala Kawasaki).
Is there a magic number to the Twitter formula? I honestly don't know. But what I do know is that social media is like a revolving door in a busy mall… There's a constant new stream of traffic coming in to meet you.
Someone will greet them at the door.
Might as well be you.
Have an awesome day and PODCAST ON!
